Prof. Dr. S. Jawaid Hassan has taken over the charge of HOD w.e.f. 01-04-2018, performing his duty actively to promote the teaching and research of Persian language and literature. He is dedicated scholar and has many articles to his credit. He has conducted extensive research on “HINDU PERSIAN POETS OF BIHAR”.Prof. Hassan has a distinction of being the alumni of the college too. He is a multi- faceted personality and has earned a respectable position for himself in the domain of literature. Prof. Hassan was awarded Ph.D. degree in 1991 under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Hussain, the first HOD of Persian Department.
