Farina Shaheen, born on 20th December 1988 in Gaya Town, Bihar, is a very passionate and hard-working teacher/faculty. She did her schooling from DAV Public School, Gaya, Bihar (affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi). She completed her Senior Secondary (10th) and Higher Secondary in Biology (12th) in the year 2004 and 2006 respectively. Subsequently, she graduated with Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree in Biotechnology from Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya, Bihar (affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar) in the year 2011. After that she successfully achieved her Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi in the year 2013. She started her professional career in the year 2018, by becoming a guest/visiting faculty in the Department of Biotechnology at her alma mater (Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya, Bihar). She has been teaching passionately since day one and within no time she has built good rapport with her seniors & colleagues and students as well. Farina brings with her - dedication, energy, and positive attitude. She values the importance of concept and hence, leaves no stone unturned to get her points through to the students. She is easily approachable and always up for any task/assignment. She strongly believes in the philosophy of knowledge-transfer & knowledge-sharing and practices the same diligently. Farina, in her leisure time, likes to be with her family & friends. She loves kids and experiments with her cooking skills.
